Well i found this out last night (5th april) and since this thread has came up i thought i should share it

Code:

onClipEvent (load) {
   _x = 0;
   _y = 0;
   speed = 5;
}
onClipEvent (mouseDown) {
   endX = _root._xmouse;
   endY = _root._ymouse;
}
onClipEvent (enterFrame) {
   _x += (endX-_x)/speed;
   _y += (endY-_y)/speed;
}

make sure you make the image a movie clip. Also, where it says "speed =5;" you can change the 5 to any number to make it move slow or fast

the code is in the language of action script witch is the language for flash but you don't need to have the program flash on your pc but you need flash player witch is the plug-in to view flash content i hope this helped

CS4 is the latest version but the timeline is at the top for me (because I moved it )

Also, the code that I did for CW is more advanced. It has a constant speed.

Yeah most movement codes are more advanced. Rather simple trig, my game uses a constant speed and then just atan, sin and cos, but very simple.

To make .swf files you can use a range of tools and not just Adobe Flash. You can use things like Flash Develop and other such things which are sometimes a lot cheaper way of doing things. (I personally find the Adobe Flash interface counter intuitive and therefore use PHP instead.)

yeh my brother had a problem downloading it and had to register i am a member but it only takes 2 mins and i hate putting in my phone number
